윤여동 Yeodong Yun

금속을 다양한 색과 형태, 방법으로 가공해 생활 기물, 오브제 그리고 설치 작품까지 다채로운 스펙트럼의 작업을 보여주는 작가 윤여동은 자신의 작업을 <정중동(靜中動)>으로 표현한다. 

조용한 가운데 어떠한 움직임이 있다는 의미의 정중동은 정지한 채로 머물러 있는 사물임에도 가녀린 떨림과 흔들림을 간직한, 그래서 움직임을 내포한 작가의 작업을 설명하는 데 더없이 적절하다. 

신라 시대 금관의 조형적 아름다움에서 영향을 받은 작가는 언제나 '흔들린다'는 것을 전제로 작업 세계를 전개하는데, 이는 반드시 흘러가고야 마는 시간 속에 살아가는 삶의 모습과 닮아있다.

Artist  Yeo Dong Yun, who processes metal in various colors, shapes, and methods to show work in a variety of spectra, including living objects, objects, and installation works, 

expresses her work as  'Jung Jung Dong (靜中動)', which means there is some movement in the quiet, is perfect for explaining the artist's work, which retains delicate shaking 

even though it is an object that remains stationary. Influenced by the formative beauty of gold crown in the Shilla Dynasty, the artist always develops the world of work on the 

premise that it is "shaken," which resembles the appearance of life living in time that must pass.
